Sibiu is my university town, I loved being there and not only because of the beautiful architecture, but also because of its kind and hospitable people. Its a must go place if you plan to visit Romania.

I love this place where the students dress as though in Paris. And the Evangelical Church and its contents are superb. Try and hit Sibiu when they are lining up the strawberry flan down the road . . .

I just returned from Sibiu, and it was a great place to enjoy rich history, culture, excellent food, and beautiful crafts. The surrounding area was easy to get around in, and the hospitality of the people was pleasant.

I have been there and it is really a nice place to go, like Sighisoara, Brasov, Bran and all cities from Transilvania – it’s like to be in another century

This was the place that I felt the most comfortable travelling alone. Incredibly beautiful. Lots of restaurants where you can sit outside and not too touristy. Friendly, easy-going atmosphere and Amazing architecture. It is a good place to use as a base to travel to other places by train or coach easily.
