This is the town I was born in. I will always miss the beauty of it. I still miss the crispy winter air and the summer sunny days …my childhood friends, Catza, Bebe, Miosh, Mitza, Sirbosu.. .I will always love this town.

The “Timpa” toponym is an old dacian origin name. In other place of Carpathians exists another mountains with this name (one is in Sureanu).

The name of the mountain is “ZINNA” (in German and Italian, meaning “the mamma”, mamel. ) It comes from the feminine shape…
The second name is “Timpa” (from “Timpalera”, the mountain of the TIME and of “Impaler”…)
The Greek invaders changed the name after Trianon and still change it all the time, as they do not know any Latin or German…
